We are a free tutoring service for students taking GCSE Maths and English.
Our volunteer tutors are university students and young professionals who wish to contribute to their local community and help young people achieve their academic potential.
We have provided regular weekly tutoring to more than 20 students in the past year and are now open to take on new students with the commencement of the academic year.
All sessions are supervised by a member of GCSE Success with a valid CRB check.
How you can benefit:
Each student needs to sign-up in advance of their first session but this is very easy! Just e-mail us, call us or drop by the library during one of our sessions. We are happy to accommodate new students who are interested in learning and improving their exam results. However, if we do become oversubscribed, preference will be given to students in year 11 living on the Kambala, York Road or Winstanley estates.
We encourage parents to come and get in touch as well with comments, advice and feedback.
